keep us captivated, keep us entranced, for lack of good attention spans
will we be lucky enough to have learned anything where is our Scheherazade to teach us kindness and the value of life? or have we already silenced her?
I was once sad to discover the frailty of humankind.
And because of that, I had lost faith.
With time, I've come to find the kindness that is still there.
To have faith in humanity despite knowing its frailty, that is my hope.
